  • the lecture “The multiple legacies of the Emir Abdel-Qader: an avant-garde ethics of war and dialogue of civilizations” by Patrice Brodeur, Professor at UdeM, on December 5th, 2011, at 4:30 pm, in the Octagon Room, Islamic Studies Library (Morrice Hall)
  • a special viewing of the Lebanese documentary “Aks essayr – À contre-courant”, featured by the Adyan Foundation in 2011, on December the 9th at 5 pm in Room 017 (TNC) of Morrice Hall. A discussion facilitated by Rachad Antonius, Professor at UQÀM, will follow the film
