\"\"<\/a>My name is Edward Bilodeau, and I am the liaison librarian for management and business at McGill University.<\/strong> This means that I am responsible for the supporting primarily the students and faculty at the Desautels Faculty of Management to get the most out of the Library’s resources, services, and facilities.<\/p>\n

This weblog is a place for me to write about my work as a librarian and to share news, tips and resources to help you to discover the many ways that the Library can support your learning, teaching, and research.<\/p>\n

I also use\u00a0Facebook<\/a> to engage in shorter, more frequent sharing along these same lines. (I’m also on Twitter<\/a>, but my sharing there is more general, relating to my work and my efforts to apply minimalism to improve my efficiency and effectiveness.)<\/p>\n

In addition to supporting management as an area of study, I also write about other topics that are of particular interest to me: social media, communications, knowledge management, organizational learning, and library administration to name a few. And although I’ve recently pivoted away from information technology as a professional focus, I expect that I’ll occasionally write about that as well, specifically as it relates to management, libraries, or academia.<\/p>\n
