In February, your librarians have created a book display to celebrate Black History Month. The selections honour the contributions of Black Canadians, their history and their experiences. You will find literature, including poetry, and social and historical studies written by Canadian authors. The display will be up the entire month of February so take a break and browse the shelf\u2026better yet, borrow a book and consider entering our Book Review contest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Read any book on the McGill Library\u2019s Black History Month Book Display and share your thoughts, feelings, or opinions on the book by submitting a short book review.\u00a0Tell us what you thought of the writing, research, story, or message.<\/p>\n

The winner will receive a book of poetry by George Elliott Clarke, the Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate and will have their review published on the Humanities and Social Sciences Library blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n
