A new, open-access journal was recently launched called <a href=\"http:\/\/faculty.chass.ncsu.edu\/akhater\/Mashriq\/currentissue.html\">Mashriq and Mahjar<\/a>.\u00a0 &#8220;<em>Mashriq &amp; Mahjar<\/em> is published by the <strong>Khayrallah Program for Lebanese-American Studies<\/strong> and the <strong>Department of History <\/strong>at North Carolina State University.&#8221; The journal is particularly pertinent to those of you who study migration and diaspora studies.
