{"id":1251,"date":"2021-01-27T20:24:49","date_gmt":"2021-01-28T01:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.library.mcgill.ca\/lawlibrary\/?p=1251"},"modified":"2021-01-27T20:25:56","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T01:25:56","slug":"access-to-jus-mundi-database-thanks-to-the-wainwright-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.library.mcgill.ca\/lawlibrary\/access-to-jus-mundi-database-thanks-to-the-wainwright-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Access to Jus Mundi database, thanks to the Wainwright Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/wainwright\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wainwright Fund<\/a>, the library is pleased to announce yet another new database subscription, this time to J<em>us Mundi &#8211; Academic Research<\/em>, by Brill. <br \/><br \/>Subscribing to this new and innovative award-winning database was a priority for the library, as it caters directly to two of the Faculty of Law&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/law\/research\/research-strengths\" target=\"_blank\">research strengths<\/a>: Arbitration and International Law. <em>Jus Mundi <\/em>contains &#8220;over 16,000 international law and investor-state arbitration documents, including treaties, ICJ, PCIJ, PCA, ITLOS, ICSID and other arbitration institutions, UNCITRAL, IUSCT documents (judgments, arbitral awards, orders, pleadings, etc.), and decisions of the Mixed Claims Commission.&#8221; Importantly for our bilingual Faculty, the database offers a multilingual search engine, with several advanced linguistic features. <br \/><br \/><em>Jus Mundi <\/em>is accessible from the Arbitration section of our International Law subject guide, <a href=\"https:\/\/libraryguides.mcgill.ca\/c.php?g=710900&amp;p=5065555#s-lg-box-15928769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
