{"id":272,"date":"2013-01-30T10:32:42","date_gmt":"2013-01-30T15:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.library.mcgill.ca\/lawlibrary\/?p=272"},"modified":"2013-01-30T10:38:44","modified_gmt":"2013-01-30T15:38:44","slug":"new-resorce-to-find-canadian-government-and-legislative-publications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.library.mcgill.ca\/lawlibrary\/new-resorce-to-find-canadian-government-and-legislative-publications\/","title":{"rendered":"New resorce for finding Canadian government and legislative publications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Association of Parliamentary Libraries in Canada (APLIC) has announced the release of its unique pan-Canadian bilingual government and legislative publications portal <a href=\"http:\/\/aplicportal.ola.org\/aplicadvancedsearch.asp?language=eng\" target=\"_blank\">GALLOPP <\/a>(Government and Legislative Libraries Online Publications Portal) \/ PPGPE (Portail des publications gouvernementales et parlementaires \u00e9lectroniques). This portal is a result of collaboration between provincial and territorial legislative libraries from across Canada and the federal government\u2019s Depository Services Program (DSP). It provides one-stop access to over 320,000 electronic provincial, territorial and federal government publications and legislative materials dating back to 1995 that were collected by Legislative libraries in Canada for their jurisdictions. As of 2013-07-12 the portal provides full-text access to the content from the electronic government documents collections of the following libraries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alberta Legislature Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Legislative Library of British Columbia<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manitoba Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">New Brunswick Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Newfoundland and Labrador Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Northwest Territories Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nova Scotia Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ontario Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Library of the National Assembly, Qu\u00e9bec<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Saskatchewan Legislative Library<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Government of Canada-Depository Services Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The portal can be accessed through our Law Subject Guide, in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/library\/library-findinfo\/subjects\/law\/legislation-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canadian Legislation and Cases <\/a>section.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Parliamentary Libraries in Canada (APLIC) has announced the release of its unique pan-Canadian bilingual government and legislative publications portal GALLOPP (Government and Legislative Libraries Online Publications Portal) \/ PPGPE (Portail des publications gouvernementales et parlementaires \u00e9lectroniques).
