Profiles in Science is designed to make digitized documents and photographs of leading medical researchers available online.<\/p>\n<p>And have a look at this excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/circulatingnow.nlm.nih.gov\/2013\/12\/19\/getting-to-know-dr-osler\/\">entry<\/a> on the NLM&#8217;s blog <a href=\"http:\/\/circulatingnow.nlm.nih.gov\">Circulating Now<\/a> on the inclusion of William Osler, and one historian&#8217;s newfound appreciation for the man behind the myth:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He was legendary during his lifetime, and for nearly a century, he\u2019s\u00a0been practically a deity in some medical circles.
