ChemSpider is a structure-centric database so you don&#8217;t have to be a chemist to search it. It associates all of the possible synonyms to the structure of a compound so you can enter any name you know. Of course, if you are familiar with chemical structures you can also draw or upload a structure to search.<\/p>\n<p>The RSC Publishing swag includes some really nice mouse pads with inspiring quotations from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsc.org\/images\/061131----My-RSC--1920x1080-pixels_tcm18-203973.png\">Marie Curie<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsc.org\/images\/ChemSpiderwithquote1920x1080_tcm18-203972.png\">Lord Kelvin<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsc.org\/images\/RSCJournalswithquote1920x1080_tcm18-203975.png\">Linus Pauling<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsc.org\/images\/RSCeBookwithquote1920x1080_tcm18-203974.png\">Albert Einstein<\/a>, so stop in at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/library\/library-using\/branches\/schulich\">Schulich Library<\/a> information desk to pick one up while supplies last.
