It has an online platform for its ebooks, called <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.mcgill.ca\/login?url=http:\/\/link.springer.com\/search?facet-content-type=%22Book%22&amp;from=SL\">SpringerLink<\/a>. It recently changed its interface. Unfortunately, the migration caused some of McGill Library&#8217;s ebooks to go temporarily missing from the collection. If you see a Springer ebook in the Library\u2019s Catalogue but cannot open the full text following the &#8220;Find it&#8221; link, you could try pressing the \u201cAccess old SpringerLink\u201d button on the top right of the screen. This will take you to the old <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.mcgill.ca\/login?url=http:\/\/www.springerlink.com\/?MUD=MP\">platform<\/a> where you may be able to open the full text.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, if you cannot find a recently published Springer book in the Library&#8217;s catalogue, try going to <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.mcgill.ca\/login?url=http:\/\/link.springer.com\/search?facet-content-type=%22Book%22&amp;from=SL\">SpingerLink<\/a> directly and searching by the title or author. Sometimes the catalogue records come later than the ebooks. Please note that you need to turn on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/library\/library-using\/connect\">VPN or log onto EZproxy <\/a>if you want to access the Library\u2019s electronic resources from off campus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Springer is one of the major publishers in the world of science and technology.
