In the face of COVID-19, many publishers are\u00a0opening up access to some of their content<\/a>.\u00a0\u200bHowever,\u00a0studies\u00a0show\u00a0that this\u00a0still only represents a small percentage of the world\u2019s research<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Making your work\u00a0open\u00a0can have a number of advantages:
\n1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Anyone can access your research, anywhere in the world<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Open access papers are cited more*<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0You will fulfill funding-agency open access requirements\u00a0\u200b<\/p>\n

How do I make my work open?<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b>Email\u00a0escholarship.library@mcgill.ca<\/a>\u00a0with your list of publications\/CV. We will check which of your publications can be made open and how (\u200byes, this includes articles that have already been published!).
